When I started at The List as a freelance writer, Marlee (as editor) provided clarity surrounding the style and voice of the publication while offering constructive feedback. Not only did she ask questions, but she actually listened — something not always seen in editors. I always felt comfortable asking her questions, soliciting feedback, and sharing my own thoughts, even when they didn’t match hers.
