I was the inaugural Editor-in-Chief of The List, Static Media’s women’s lifestyle site, starting in 2016. I developed the tone, mission, content strategy and editorial process from the ground up. I also hired and trained more than 50 writers and editors who all reported directly to me. I managed the day-to-day production of the content, and collaborated with my team to execute our company-wide goals.
I was then promoted to Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships for Static Media, where I developed and managed strategic editorial partnerships across all 7 of our brands (The List, Mashed, Looper, Nicki Swift, Grunge, Health Digest, SVG), with the goal of contributing to company-wide content growth, editorial credibility via exclusive content, and audience development through content sharing and SEO optimization.
One of my biggest wins was finding body language experts to weigh in on time-sensitive events.
