I was an editor for AskMen for three years. During that time, I collaborated with my team of writers and editors on a daily basis to develop and commission content that upheld our mission statement: “Become A Better Man.”
As social editor, I focused on curating and commissioning quality content that would perform well on our social media platforms. I also collaborated with publicists, PR and social media managers to push AskMen’s content on other brands’ social platforms.
As audience development editor, I focused on content strategy and devising creative ways to bring in new traffic. I secured and developed relationships with content partners (publishers, influencers and brands) who could be a good fit to complement and enhance the AskMen brand and increase awareness across a new market.
